XML Import/ Export
One of the primary objectives for developing DirectoryWorks was the ability to share business data with partner organisations and/ or Web site visitors.
The software currently supports importing and exporting of business data in a variety of XML forms including:
The aim is to improve searchability by making data more meaningful, and also to facilitate greater semantic interoperability between business data suppliers and users.
In the future we hope to extend this further by integrating XML-RPC and SOAP functionality, facilitating Web services and distributed Web applications as well as data sharing. This will provide a limitless platform for next-generation business directories and distributed business applications.
